Responsibilities:
- Manage the review, testing, and documentation, of Epic software releases.
- Coordinate and schedule all software releases dates in multiple environments.
- Review and evaluate software documentation, technical guides, release notes, etc.
- Perform various types of testing, such as functional, non-functional, regression, integration, performance, usability, smoke, etc.
- Execute testing plans, procedures, and scenarios based on software requirements.
- Coordinate testing and approvals with cross functional testing teams.
- Submit change requests for scheduling releases including upgrades, updates, hot fixes, etc.
- Document and disseminate test results of executed test procedures and processes.
- Detect, log, and track software defects and inconsistencies.
- Develop and edit test plans and cases, when needed and ensure traceability to requirements and releases.
- Investigate and inquire with vendor support on unclear release notes regarding functions and operations of software applications.
- Ensure release notes are tested and documented with accuracy and thoroughness.
- Update testing documentation as required to ensure compliance with audit requirements.

Requirements:
- Advanced knowledge of Applied Epic insurance (AMS) software (SaaS) required.
- Experience reading, understanding, and translating software release notes and testing functionality of upgrades, updates, and hot fixes.
- Professional, organized, and strong communicator to all levels of the organization.
- Ability to work independently or in a team environment with good communication and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and commitment to a high level of accuracy.
- Must be able to multitask and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment.
- Possess strong administrative and computing skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Power Point).
- Able to manage priorities and meet project deadlines.
- Competent with collaboration tools such as WebEx, Zoom or Teams
- Able to conform to shifting priorities, demands and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
Education/Experience:
- 5+ years of Applied Epic system experience.
- 3+ Years of management or supervisory experience preferred
- P & C insurance licensed preferred.
- Possess strong administrative and computing skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Power Point).
- College degree preferred.
