Job DescriptionPreferred candidate resides near Houston, TX
This position oversees operational and administrative duties both within the office and in the field for Emergency Response services. Manages and directs all junior response personnel during Emergency Response incidents as well as planned projects.
Primary Responsibilities (Essential Functions)
- Prepares, trains, guides, and mentors junior members in the performance of their duties. Manages day-to-day activities of Emergency Response incidents. Prepares daily summary sheets, field notes, photo documentation and waste manifests accurately as required. Responsible for the proper identification and preparation of waste packaging, profiling, labels, and manifests for transport.
- Act as a liaison with local, state, and federal regulatory agencies, clients, and insurance companies.
- Performs project job walks and prepares complete and accurate costs proposals.
- Tracks projects, completes and submits all job completion paperwork for timely invoicing.
- Aids upper management and marketing staff with presentations and sales initiatives. Develops new business and grows service lines.
- Coordinates and prioritizes area resources to maximize efficiency and costs.
- Manage exceptions in the field and resolve atypical problems.
- Maintains a safe, clean, and secure worksite. Follows, and implements all safety protocols.
Qualifications
Basic Required Qualifications
- Education equivalent to Bachelor’s Degree in a science related field preferred, or the equivalent in related work experience, demonstrating strong working knowledge of incident command system.
- Five or more years of industry related experience in Emergency Response or the equivalent in related work experience.
- 40 Hour OSHA Hazwoper training (CFR 1910.120) and current 8 hour refresher.
- Must have the ability to respond to all types of Emergency Response incidents 24 hours a day/ 7 days a week as needed when on call and during normal business hours.
- Demonstrates knowledge of computer software applications including spreadsheets and word processing.
- Mastery of the English language, both verbal and written

Demonstrates ability to manage own time and schedule to get work accomplished and meet customer needs.
- Demonstrates strong networking and proven relationship building skills and proven customer relationship development skills.
