```Duties```
- Provide attentive and compassionate care for animals in a daycare setting
- Supervise and monitor the behavior and interactions of animals to ensure their safety and well-being
- Engage in playtime and provide exercise opportunities for animals
- Administer medications or treatments as directed by pet owners or veterinarians
- Maintain a clean and sanitary environment for animals, including cleaning kennels, play areas, and feeding areas
- Monitor animal behavior for signs of illness or distress and report any concerns to the appropriate staff member
- Assist with grooming tasks such as bathing, brushing, and nail trimming
- Assist with training activities to reinforce positive behaviors in animals
- Maintains staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees; maintaining a safe, secure, and legal work environment; developing personal growth opportunities.
- Accomplishes staff results by communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results; coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; developing, coordinating, and enforcing systems, policies, procedures, and productivity standards.
- Maintains quality service by enforcing quality and customer service standards; analyzing and resolving quality and customer service problems; identifying trends; recommending system improvements.
- Maintains professional and technical knowledge; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; benchmarking state-of-the-art practices; participating in professional societies.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

```Skills```
- Experience in pet sitting, animal care, veterinary assistance, or related fields is preferred
- Strong knowledge of animal behavior, handling techniques, and basic care needs
- Ability to handle dogs of all sizes and temperaments safely and effectively
- Knowledge of pet grooming techniques is a plus
- Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) and perform physical tasks such as bending, kneeling, and standing for extended periods of time
- Excellent communication skills with both animals and pet owners
- Ability to work well in a team environment and follow instructions from supervisors
Qualifications:
- Must have manager experience
- Must have animal handling experience
- Must have a clean driving record
- Must have driver license for 5 years or more
