Job Description
As the Manager, Digital Content Strategy - Creative Partnerships, you will be responsible for working with key stakeholders to elevate the NBCUniversal brand to our advertising & partnerships client base.
You will touch all levels of the marketing funnel to reach and convert potential advertisers, working directly on the strategy, design, implementation, and performance measurement of content and digital marketing initiatives (website, paid social, search, e-mail, etc.) that nurture the sales journey for current and prospective clients. This position reports to the VP and Director.
Responsibilities
Content Strategy:
  • Lead NBCUniversal's Content Strategy and activation on NBCU's Advertising & Partnerships website to develop innovative, connected, and seamless site experience to reflect and articulate positioning and priorities
    • Serve as connective thread across organization to develop and connect marketplace messaging
    • Develop content plan and assets that includes connective messaging to drive relevant traffic to the site using social, digital, email etc.
  • Manage relationships with key counterparts across organization to properly represent priorities and offerings from a variety of teams and properties
    • Includes cross-functional collaboration including Trade Marketing, Corporate Communications, Innovation, Insights & Research, Product Marketing, and Executive Leadership teams and more
  • Assist in management of live stream events for NBCUniversal Advertising & Partnerships division

Performance Marketing:
  • Lead paid social strategy (ie. LinkedIn) performance and optimization for B2B audience to drive organizational revenue, including but not limited to:
    • Awareness marketing strategy for tentpole business events (ie. Tech Conference, Upfront) as well as evergreen awareness approach
    • Consideration for company initiatives and education (ie. Ad Products, Insights & Research)
    • Conversion for advertising priorities (ie. Content, Inquiries)
  • Collaborate with Digital Marketing Manager to plan/execute lead generation efforts on our advertising & partnerships website for priority small and medium-sized business clients
    • Includes overseeing year-long paid and organic search initiatives alongside digital marketing agency
  • Lead on the development and presentation of quarterly initiative and event recap decks, working closely with other teams to create comprehensive, insights-driven analysis
  • Work with all key stakeholders across sales, creative, and marketing to push forward investments via proven results
  • Consistently stay up to date with industry research, competitive landscape, and best user practices to keep NBCU as a trailblazer in the marketplace

Management + Initiative:
  • Develop future-forward marketing strategies and nurture fresh thinking for marketing initiatives
  • Co-lead relationships with various external partners to ensure progress of company investments
    • Includes relationships management with website development team, digital marketing agency, and Salesforce leads
  • Effectively lead, manage, and mentor team of 1+ employees (Coordinators, Associates, and Interns)
  • Develop and coordinate internal training plan for junior members of the team

Qualifications
  • 5+ years experience with an agency, client, or media company sales/marketing or tech organization background
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing successful marketing initiatives for advertisers
  • Aptitude and direct experience in digital, social, e-mail, and website marketing initiatives
  • Bachelor's Degree, or equivalent work experience
  • Relevant experience in marketing automation (ie. Pardot, Marketo, Eloque, etc.)
  • Relevant experience with Microsoft Office Suite (ie. PowerPoint, Excel, Word)
  • Preferred backend experience with Salesforce
  • Basic knowledge of CSS and/or HTML website coding, Adobe Creative suite (ie. Photoshop, Premiere) and/or Canva

  • Strong interpersonal skills - ability to lead and motivate a team of 1+ direct report, interdepartmental teams and influence internal/external teams
  • Ability to interact with senior-level management, internally and externally
  • Strong organizational, project & event management
  • Knowledge of media marketing, the sales process and media in general
  • Meticulous with a keen eye for detail
  • Excellent oral, written, presentation and budget management skills

Additional Requirements
  • Hybrid: This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week. Tuesday - Thursday on-site, Monday/Friday remote

Salary range: $95,000 - $100,000 (Bonus eligible)
