- Partner with plant leadership to lead Lean Management System integration through the LEAD for Lean program in alignment with our Global Operations vision, objectives, and metrics.
- Effectively deploy Lean methodologies and tools that directly improve Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, and Engagement (SQDCE) results.
- Drive and implement equipment reliability, process, efficiency, and productivity improvements positively impacting the Cost Conversion Productivity (CCP) metric.
- Coordinate with operations, maintenance, and engineering teams to develop and improve autonomous, preventative, and predictive reliability maintenance programs.
- Work with cross-functional resources to identify and execute Continuous Improvement initiatives; leading and engaging participation in WorkOut, Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping, and ways of working to reduce waste, optimize flow and improve yields and productivity.
- Lead and be an active participant in projects that include equipment reliability programs, operational resilience, new capabilities, re-designing complex processes or working on program management efforts, including standardization, infrastructure, and technologies.
- Exercise project management skills towards results oriented delivery and manage the relationship between improvement teams and stakeholders.
- Advance Lean training, and broader organizational understanding of Continuous Improvement.
- Develop results-oriented process-owners with effective problem solving, improvement tool selection and data analysis.
- Oversee delivery of plant Continuous Improvement performance targets including financial results.
- Perform any other related duties as required.
- Work within formal systems, such as cGMP, ISO, CE to ensure that new processes or process improvements are in conformance with compliance requirements.
- Bachelor degree with 10+ years of experience or equivalent education and years of experience; or, Master degree with 8+ years of experience or equivalent education and years of experience; or, Doctoral degree with 5+ years of experience or equivalent education and years of experience.
- At least one higher education degree in Engineering, Life Science, or Business discipline
- Certifications: Lean and/or Six Sigma Certification preferred.
- Experience: Minimum 10 years’ experience in a manufacturing industry with Lean Manufacturing and/or cGMP experience in a Continuous Improvement role with applied experience in Total Productive Maintenance and/or Reliability-Centered Maintenance principles.
- Travel: Ability to travel domestically and internationally to conduct training and lean events 15%
