POSITION SUMMARY
The MLK Community Health Foundation is dedicated to raising and stewarding financial support for MLK Community Healthcare (MLKCH) and its work in South Los Angeles. We unite community, civic, and philanthropic leaders to invest in building a healthcare system for South LA.
The Foundation funds a broad continuum of programs and direct patient care, from acute to community wellness and prevention. The Foundation supports MLKCH's state-of-the-art hospital, the MLK Community Medical Group and its outpatient practice sites, along with population health programs--all delivering quality healthcare to the 1.3 million residents of South LA.
Reporting to the Director, Annual Giving, the Manager, Annual Giving engages, stewards, and cultivates donor and prospects through digital campaignsl, special events and volunteer leadership engagement. The Manager, Annual Giving collaborates with the Director, Annual Giving to develop and implement Annual Giving strategies, including new initiatives that engage donors, with a continued focus on revenue growth for MLKCH. The Manager is specifically responsible for the analysis of campaign trends and results, with resulting recommendations for action, project management of campaigns, volunteer support, and oversight of communications tools serving the Annual Giving program.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage digital fundraising campaigns to drive donor acquisition, cultivation, and engagement/retention
- MLKCH Gives
- Giving Tuesday/Year-End
- Implement new strategies with a focus on acquisition, retention and growth, including social media strategy to convert followers into donors
- Spring Campaign
- Implement acquisition strategy and analysis for performance
- Project manage fundraising and project activities for Dream Show, annual Foundation donor engagement event
- Manage and improve stewardship for online donors
- Working with manager of donor relations, improve donor's digital experience to successfully communicate and advance mission of health system
- Working with Director of Annual Giving, implement peer-to-peer fundraising program for MLKCH
- Measure campaign success through analytics
- Perform other duties as identified
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
A. Education
- Bachelor's Degree required
B. Qualifications/Experience
- 3+ years nonprofit fundraising experience
- Strong communications skills
- Demonstrated experience managing fundraising campaigns with measurable track record of success
C. Special Skills/Knowledge
- Adept with digital media; demonstrated skills in digital communication; knowledge of nonprofit settings
