This position manages and organizes the daily activities of the Epic (Ambulatory) Application Analysts and the EHR Helpdesk Analysts. Responsibilities include working with Epic Analysts across the organization to achieve desired results to ensure prompt and accurate issue resolution within the established timeframes. Will also be responsible for planning the Change Advisory Board (CAB) meetings and participating in system upgrades.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Oversee the daily operation of the Epic Application Analysts and the EHR Helpdesk Analysts within the Information Services Department including coordinating the daily schedule of work assignments, projects, and operations and managing the workload; hiring, training and developing staff; conducting performance reviews disciplinary actions, and monitoring the quality of work.
• Work with Epic Analysts across all application teams to maintain record protection settings and ensure records are moved to appropriate environments in a timely manner, while maintaining referential integrity between all Epic environments.
• Plan and implement Change Advisory Board (CAB) meetings. This includes holding CAB meetings, communicating changes to all application teams, maintaining guidelines for change management processes and maintaining build between all environments.
• Participate in system upgrades and scheduled vendor releases to enhance the application and meet project objectives, including testing and planning of the upgrade.
• Collaborate with application teams to develop departmental standards regarding change control to ensure accurate data tracking and monitors change process by maintaining current protocols.
• Monitor deadlines and build for ongoing Epic projects.
• Create, maintain, and troubleshoot all Data Courier interfaces between all Epic environments.
• Assist with design, development, system configuration, implementation, and support of assigned Epic applications for the organization. Support investigation of end users' preferences and troubleshooting issues while making build decisions and analyzing business operations as they relate to build decision.
• Provide coaching support to staff and serve as a role model in support of department and corporate initiatives.
• May need to cover other employees' work responsibilities across multiple Epic applications to ensure work is completed.
• Continue to fulfil duties as certified testing coordinator.
QUALIFICATIONS:
A. Education, Licensures & Certifications
• Required - Bachelor's degree in business, healthcare or related field.
• Required - Epic Certifications or able to obtain within three (3) months of start date. Required certifications include the following:
o Data Courier Administration Certification;
o EpicCare Ambulatory Certification;
o Epic Testing Coordinator Certification; and
o Other Epic certifications that may later be required for the position.
