Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing patient care and assisting with medical administrative tasks. Duties:
- Provide exceptional patient service by greeting and assisting patients in a friendly and professional manner
- Perform medical administrative support duties such as scheduling appointments, maintaining patient records, and managing insurance information
- Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures
- Administer medications as directed by healthcare professionals
- Ensure accurate documentation of patient information, including medical history, vital signs, and symptoms
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of examination rooms and medical equipment
- Adhere to all safety protocols and infection control measures
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a Medical Assistant program preferred
- Previous experience working in a hospital or clinical setting is highly desirable
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, medical terminology, and physiology
- Proficient in taking vital signs and performing basic medical procedures
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage patient records and administrative tasks
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail
