Relevant Experience: 5-+ years
Primary Skill Sets: Executing sales strategy, Selling Cybersecurity solutions, Operational Management, Negotiate Contracts.
Secondary Skill Sets: Develop, mentor, recruit, and retain top sales talent
POSITION SUMMARY:
The main goal of our Major Account Manager is to manage relationships with our existing accounts, ensure ongoing satisfaction with our product offerings, along with introducing them to opportunities to expand their usage of Securonix. In this role, you will partner cross functionally with internal teams to bring the full range of our product and service offerings to the customer. This is a quota carrying role and critical to the continued growth and success of Securonix.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Act as the voice of the customer, advocating for their interests with internal stakeholders and ensuring a smooth customer experience.
  • Meet and/or exceed your quota by managing the renewal process for customer accounts, along with identifying, qualifying and closing upsell opportunities within your customer relationships.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor and industry expert to customers, helping them utilize the product efficiently.
  • Stay current on competitor offerings and be able to identify their strengths and vulnerabilities - why we win and why we lose.
  • Influence client decisions and advocate for client needs to negotiate solutions.
  • Work closely and communicate effectively with various cross functional teams including Sales Engineering, Customer Success, and Revenue Operations to ensure seamless implementation and effective ongoing account growth.
  • Accurately enter, update, and maintain daily activity, forecast and opportunity information in Salesforce.

REQUIRED SKILLS:
  • 7 +years of sales relationship management experience at a technology company.
  • Experience at an Enterprise Cybersecurity company with SIEM.
  • Strong track record of successfully developing key accounts.
  • Highly professional communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work well independently and under pressure, as well as be highly responsive to clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Eagerness to learn, absorb, and adapt quickly to ever-changing business priorities.
  • Critical thinking and creativity, demonstrating drive, initiative, curiosity, and sense of urgency in ensuring an excellent customer experience.
  • Ability to travel up to 25% to customer meetings as needed.
