FULL & PART-TIME MAINTENANACE POSITIONS

Job Knowledge, Core Competencies and Expectations

• Working knowledge of carpentry, electrical, plumbing, and painting.

• Assists other staff with repairs to locks, plumbing fixtures, electrical outlets, minor carpentry work, as needed.

• Evaluate all repairs needed and report them to the Club Managers.

• Knowledge of and ability to perform required role during emergency situations.

• Skilled in the use of hand and power tools.

• Experience performing routine maintenance.

• Professional presentation and attitude.

• Ability to maintain focus while working individually.

• Strong time management skills.

Primary Job Duties

• Coordinates the servicing and repairing of systems for lighting, heating, ventilating, fire, drainage, plumbing, electrical, painting, and related maintenance activities with contractors.
• Monitors all work done by outside contractors and communicates the status of each project to the Clubhouse Manager.
• Maintains accurate maintenance and repair records of equipment and machinery.
• Visually inspects clubhouse, public spaces and back of the house areas to replace light bulbs, lamps, switches, etc.
• Oversees the maintenance of parking lots, swimming pools and other recreational areas.
• Ensures that all building maintenance, repair, and cleaning activities are identified, scheduled, and completed in a timely manner.
• Assists in shoveling snow from walkways, when necessary.
• Keeps the workshop areas safe, clean, and well-lit.
• Responds to emergencies at any time.
• Collects maintenance and work orders from department heads for approval by the Club House Manager.
• Maintains inventory of cleaning, maintenance, repair, and related supplies.
• Assists with set up/break down of special functions, parties, tournaments, etc.
• Ensures a highly efficient safety program with an emphasis on awareness, discipline, and compliance; implements an overall safety program that conforms to OSHA standards.
• Orders parts for repair work as needed and in a timely manner.
• Performs other duties as assigned by the Club Managers.

Physical Requirement and Work Environment

· Regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts and outside weather conditions.

· Frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles and toxic or caustic chemicals.

· Occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; high, precarious places; extreme cold; extreme heat; risk of electrical shock; and vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud.

· Able to meet and perform physical requirements and to work effectively in an environment which is typical of this position.

· Frequent lifting, bending, climbing, stooping, and pulling.

· Frequent repetitive motions.

· Continuous standing and walking.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $20.00 - $28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 – 40 per week
