Maintenance Worker

Regency is looking for an energetic, organized, and experienced Maintenance Technician to join a team that prides themselves on the accurate and timely delivery of products to our customers.

Responsibilities:

• Performing routine maintenance around the building including but not limited to electrical, painting, plumbing, carpentry, machinery, equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance on equipment and facility.
• Change HVAC filters to maintain air quality.
• Groundskeeping when outdoor areas need maintenance.
• Identify and correct potential safety hazards to avoid injuries, complying with all safety and health regulations.
• Ability to clean up after oneself.
• Respond to emergency maintenance calls.
• Keep inventory of maintenance and cleaning supplies and equipment, and report needs to supervisor.
• Interpersonal skills to interact with employees and maintain relationships with contracted vendors.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1-2 years of experience in either electrical, mechanical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry or mechanical systems.
• Ability to stand or walk for extended periods of time; ability to bend, kneel, stoop, and lift or move equipment (50-75lbs).
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and other manuals and documents.
• Ability to work in a team and follow instructions from supervisors.
• May be required to work outside of normal work hours.
• Must have good communication skills, able to multi-task and prioritize duties.
• Experience with commercial electrical wiring (3 phase 480V) a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
