Job Summary:
The primary responsibility of the Maintenance Worker is to offer all members and employees a clean and tidy work environment free of maintenance issues by performing general maintenance. The Maintenance Worker must ensure total member, guest, and employee satisfaction and quick and effective resolution of problems and complaints always. The Maintenance Worker serves as a positive team member with the Maintenance department and other Club departments.
Duties/Responsibilities:
· Maintains cleanliness of clubhouse and area surrounding clubhouse (i.e. windows, carpets, furniture, etc.)
· Arranges rooms for events.
· Performs repairs on equipment and routine maintenance on equipment.
· Maintains interior of clubhouse- sweeping, mopping, vacuuming all areas and annual cleaning projects.
- Maintains the physical appearance of all building grounds and exterior, public space, meeting rooms at the property in a well-conditioned and attractive manner.
- Ensures all operational and safety procedures are properly followed.
- Participates in and adheres to preventative maintenance policies and schedules as outlined by the company.
- Ensures quick and efficient resolution of all maintenance/mechanically-related problems and complaints.
- Handles minor maintenance problems not requiring the direct supervision of the Maintenance Manager. Such activities include, but are not limited to, painting, landscaping, roof repair, etc.
- Follows strict sanitation and safety standards.
- Participates in on-going monthly trainings and is required to participate in trainings such as annual C.A.R.E./Alcohol training, annual sanitation training and monthly safety trainings.
· Performs other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:
- High school degree or equivalent.
- Associate degree with technical training in plant/facility engineering/maintenance preferred.
- Must hold current and valid driver’s license free from major violations.
- Must successfully pass all relevant/required background screenings which may include, but not limited to, credit, criminal, driving, and drug screening.

Experience:
- 1 year previous experience in a janitorial related position is recommended.
Physical Requirements:
· Prolonged periods of standing
· Frequently stands, walks, uses hands, talks or hears. Occasionally sits, climbs, balances, stoops, kneels, crawls or crouches. Regularly lifts up to 50 pounds.
· Ability to work in an outdoor environment and uneven terrain.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $12.00 - $14.00 per hour
