Job Title: Maintenance Technician
Location: Custom Service Plastics – Lake Geneva, Wisconsin
Terms: Permanent
Desired Skills and Qualifications:
· Capacity to work independently from general supervision (must be self-motivated once given direction/guidance).
· Strong attention to detail.
· Excellent project management, organization, writing, communication, and presentation skills required.
· Repair mechanical equipment according to changing prioritization levels
· Identify and address equipment needs before breakdowns (when practical)
· Communicate status and priority of repairs to multiple departments
· Utilize ERP software for recording and planning of maintenance tasks and agenda
· Maintain facilities maintenance; i.e. lighting, basic electrical, signage, racking
· Repair and maintain secondary production equipment
· Utilize ERP software to create and submit purchase orders
· Identify and communicate spare part inventory needs
· Maintain orderly and safe workspaces, both on the floor and in the shop
· Maintain a neat, orderly, and accurate spare parts inventory
· Other duties and responsibilities as assigned
· Experience with automation equipment maintenance and repair
· Knowledge of product safety processes
Education & Experience Requirements:
· Experience working with vendors for ordering of necessary equipment and parts
· Experience with maintenance of plastic injection molding machines, including hydraulics, electrical, and mechanical needs
· Experience with IQMS is preferred
· Experienced with MS Office and current Windows OS
· Experience using copiers, printers, and scanners.
· High School Diploma or equivalent.
Physical Demands/Work Environment:
· Travel and overtime are required when necessary.
· The employee is occasionally required to stand and walk.
· While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel.
· The employee is often required to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs
