Job Description:
Maintenance Technician performs maintenance, preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, minor and major repair of production/process equipment, and general facility maintenance. The Maintenance Technician is responsible for continuous electrical and mechanical systems function to minimize downtime. Fixes machine breakdowns in a prompt skillful manner minimizing machine downtime. Makes useful recommendations regarding improved machine performance Performs preventative maintenance and repair of production and/or facility equipment. Understands and troubleshoots basic electrical, example: relays, motors, photo eyes. Coordinates maintenance am and pm activities with production personnel to minimize downtime. Lockout/Tagout trained PPE trained Experience in industrial maintenance/shop experience. Must supply own hand tools.
