Reports to: Community Director
Summary: Assist in the overall maintenance operations of the community and ensure that apartment work orders and turnovers are completed within Miller Frishman’s guidelines to achieve customer service excellence.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Represent the company/community by maintaining a professional appearance and attitude at all times. Conduct yourself in a way that would be a good example for others on the team.
- Ensure proper safety standards are being implemented to reduce employee injuries and minimize liabilities
- Help develop resident retention by making sure that apartments being made ready are in immaculate condition
- Keep the property in good working condition and free from trash or dog waste on the ground
- Keep accurate key log records.
- Follow the community’s procedures for the remediation and documentation of mold.
- Ensure that all logs required by MFG corporate are kept accurately and submitted by the deadlines assigned by the Community Director.
- Communicate to the Maintenance Lead when the property is running low on supplies or inventory.
- Complete work orders correctly and within the guidelines set out by Miller Frishman.
- Complete all required Grace Hill training in a timely manner
- Ensure the quality and quantity of market ready apartments
- Follow Miller Frishman’s attendance policies. Clock in and out for lunch breaks each day.
- Attend resident appreciation social gatherings when it is requested by the Community Director
- Assist in resident retention efforts as required
- Be informed of and follow all guidelines of Fair Housing Laws
- Keep the buildings, grounds, amenities in good working condition. Walk the property each day to make sure that the amenities and resident communal areas are being attended to.
- Maintain good vendor relationships.
- Be aware of the maintenance budget and work to keep the property at or below budget allowances
- Maintain a sparkling pool and patio area. Ensure that the pool is clean, safe and available to residents for their enjoyment.
- Provide after-hours emergency maintenance services by responding within the timelines set forth by Miller Frishman Group

Pay: $19.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
