SUMMARY: Responsible for the maintenance of all the equipment at SupplyOne Weyers Cave Inc. including production, warehouse, the office area, and the physical building. Maintenance to be performed will cover mechanical, electrical (up to and including three phase), hydraulics, pneumatics, welding, and some carpentry. As a member of SupplyOne's team the chosen candidate must be able to work alone or as a member of a team with little or no supervision.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Coordinates maintenance activities with Equipment Operators and Supervisors in the department where the maintenance is to be performed, in a timely, efficient, and safe manner
Apply maintenance troubleshooting skills in a wide variety of machine applications in response to production requirements
Troubleshoot control wiring, relay logic, motor drive circuits, control system devices, photo eyes, limit switches, proximity switches, and transducers.
Utilize Digital Voltmeter, Mega OHM Meter and AMP probes to diagnose electrical problems
Perform mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic installation, repair and service of machinery and support systems as required.
Perform systematic preventive maintenance, including electrical and mechanical adjustments, inspections and minor repairs on plant equipment as necessary, and visually detect any issues
Performs preventative maintenance on all equipment on a regular scheduled basis.
Prioritizes repairs due to machine breakdowns over projects and other tasks
Perform welding and machine shop tasks related to repair of equipment and machinery
Maintains and organizes the maintenance area as for storage of parts and equipment as well as maintaining all shop equipment and maintaining the areas housekeeping
Maintain an organized clean and safe work area
Works closely with shift supervisors and machine operators to learn what is happening to each machine on a daily basis
Comply with area Standard Operating Procedures, OSHA regulations, and SupplyOne's safety procedures.
Design and fabricate parts to improve machine / equipment operation and safety
Maintain proper safety conditions of equipment and of Company assets
Ensure a professional image for SupplyOne with internal as well as external customers and vendors
The individual wear safety glasses, closed toe shoes, closed heel shoes required in production area
Any/all other duties assigned
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:

- Above average mechanical knowledge of gears and gear ratios
- Ability to weld and fabricate
- Able to read blueprints, schematics, and manuals
- Knowledge of electrical wiring and circuits including three phase
- Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatics
- Ability to plumb and install air and water lines
- Some carpentry skills needed
- Forklift certification and ability to maintain certification
- Problem solving, time management, and communication skills a must
- Pre-employment drug screening required.

- The employee occasionally works in outside weather conditions.
- The operator will be exposed to wet and humid conditions and have to work with some dust in the atmosphere
- Working in proximity with moving forklift trucks is required.
- Due to the nature of this position, on-site attendance is mandatory. No responsibilities of this position may be completed remotely.
