Shift: Monday-Friday 6:00am-2:30pm

Pay Scale: $30.00-$34.00 per hour

Purpose of Position

1. Maintain the facilities, equipment, grounds within manufactures and food safety guidelines

Position Competency

1. An intermediate understanding of and ability to repair all mechanical, pneumatic, structural and electrical (non-IS) assets
2. A complete knowledge of all departmental safety regulations. Including but not limited to SDS, chemical, physical & element exposures.
3. Awareness of life safety, fire suppression & food safety requirements
4. The ability to prioritize workload spanning across multiple departments
5. The ability to meet and exceed department and company goals
6. Ability to stand, bend, lift and/or move up to 50 pounds for an extended period of time
7. Must have & maintain clean MVR
8. An intermediate understanding of and ability to use phone, computer , email………

Position Expectations

1. Safety
2. Follow safety and security policies and SOPs
3. Report safety equipment and loss prevention devices/systems that are not working– no exceptions
4. Follow your department lockout/tagout policy
5. Assist with snow removal process as requested
6. Perform equipment training across company as requested
7. Complete training documents as required
8. Perform fire suppression devices & egress lighting testing per schedule
9. Report all injuries/illness
10. Fixed Assets and Properties
11. Perform mechanical, pneumatic and electrical repairs in compliance with company, municipal and state codes/policies
12. Provide 24hr maintenance on call service for all non-commercial truck equipment and assets (non-IS) as scheduled
13. Maintain communication with workload scheduler on daily repairs
14. Complete workload documents as required
15. Vendor Management and Expenses
16. Utilize only department vendors approved by Director, Fixed Assets
17. Obtain prior authorization from Maintenance Supervisor prior to making company purchases
18. Project Management
19. A work flow schedule with stated goal(s) of a project may be implemented with the required steps, necessary resources, analysis of risk and timeline in which you are required to complete the project
20. Priorities of projects will be determined by the Maintenance Supervisor and reviewed frequently
21. Any project not on course to meet it’s goals or timelines needs to be communicated to the Maintenance Supervisor at time of awareness
22. Food Safety
23. Report any facility issues that may compromise company, federal, state and local food safety regulations
24. Security
25. Follow company facility and grounds security plan
26. Update security access key pad codes for buildings upon request from Maintenance Supervisor
27. Training
28. Must attend company & job specific training

30. Stretch & flex / drug & alcohol free
