We are looking for a highly skilled Maintenance Technician Supervisor. This is a working supervisory position who will lead and direct Maintenance Technicians to meet the objectives of the maintenance team and the operations. This role coordinates safety, quality, delivery, cost and morale initiatives. The Maintenance Technician Supervisor will drive throughput improvements and coordinate professional maintenance and breakdown maintenance activities. This is a full-time, non-exempt, and on-site position located in our Coshocton and Conesville, Ohio operating areas.

What You Will Be Doing:
- Analyze mechanical, electrical, and operational problems on all equipment and plan for and take corrective action to maintain maximum production and quality.
- Test newly installed or refurbished equipment to ensure fulfillment to specification and safety.
- Assist with the development and execution of Preventative Maintenance Program. Performs preventive maintenance on equipment to reduce downtime.
- Notify Chief of Site Operations of recurring equipment malfunctions and of corrective action taken.
- Maintain and monitor inventory of maintenance equipment and parts. Order new parts as necessary.
- Oversee, train, and manage performances of Maintenance Technicians including assigning work orders, leading the daily operations and scheduled maintenance, and setting standards for performance and measuring team against those standards.
- Provide technical guidance, and training to the site regarding electrical safety and process control systems, process instrumentation, DCS, and PLC.
- Implement continuous improvement opportunities for control and electrical systems within the site.
- Install and maintain program modifications for all machines.
- Coordinate with operations and maintenance teams for the installation and removal of equipment.
- Engineer changes to enhance operation of equipment.
- Communicate with operations when outside services are needed for repairs.
- Complete purchase order requisitions for all purchased goods, equipment, or services.
- Communicate with operations about maintenance issues.
- Accepts assignments and other responsibilities as required to support operation and company objectives.
- Required to adhere to site safety and environmental requirements as established by company policy.
- Prepare and update procedures and work instructions.
- Understands that when equipment is down the workday is not over until equipment is back online and fully functioning; may be completed through direct supervision or effective delegation.
- Complete other duties (building maintenance, etc.) as assigned by the Chief of Site Operations.
- Lead and participate in special projects as required.
Your Background:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in technical/engineering field with five (5) or more years' experience OR possess a post-secondary school community College diploma in Engineering Technician or Technologist or equivalency and a minimum of ten years' experience.
- At least 3 years of people management experience.
- Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
- Working knowledge of mechanical systems and understanding of commercial heating and cooling.
- Knowledge of building safety codes, working with blueprints, drawings, manufacturer’s instructions, supplemental details and wood, metals, plastics, cutting, patching, joining, sanding and layout.
- Working knowledge of the Mitsubishi FX3 PLC Controller.
- Knowledge of various materials, preparation methods and finishes.
- Knowledge of chemicals involved in trade and safe use of same.
- Experience in electronics, electricity, plumbing, mechanical workings, and good working knowledge of hand and power tools.
- Ability to work in an environment that operates 24/7 with an ability to participate in on-call rotation and provide after-hours support as needed.
- Understands priority scheduling, risk-reward assessment, with the ability to take calculated risks and make decisions.
- Experience in continuous improvement systems and project management.
- OSHA certification is a plus.
- Understands Finance, Cost Control and Budgeting concepts.
- Excellent organization, written and oral communication skills.
- Experience in taking notes and preparing and monitoring to-do lists.
- Ability to build effective business relationships with management and customers.
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Demonstrated troubleshooting problem solving experience.
- Goal oriented self-starter with ability to lead teams.
- Ability to coach/mentor/develop skilled trade employees.
- Strong integrity (say must match your do) and set as a good example to the team.
- Highly motivated and passionate about learning new skills.
- Must have a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Must have reliable transportation.
