Job Function
Responsible for installing, repairing, and monitoring industrial production machinery and facilities. This is a position with exposure to electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems.
Essential Functions
➢Follow prescribed Safety Regulations and immediately report any unsafe conditions to the Safety Coordinator.
➢Ensure the correct and safe operation of equipment and machinery
➢Follow detailed instructions to perform predictive and preventative maintenance duties
➢Identify faulty equipment through observation and testing metrics
➢Ability to weld (stick & MIG) and perform pipe fitting (steel, copper, and PVC)
➢Safely operate tow motor, power tools, multi-meter, hoists, and hand tools
➢Perform general maintenance functions (raise/lower shotends, charge bottles, and check cores)
➢Safely work with electrical 120VAC and 480VAC and lower AC & DC control voltages.
➢Be able to remove and rebuild hydraulic pumps and valves.
➢Install new equipment (install conduit, run wire, install pipes, etc.) and follow mfg. instructions.
➢Log work performed in a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
➢Maintain parts and tools inventory
➢Continue to increase electrical, pneumatics, hydraulics, and mechanical knowledge via on-going training, industry workshops, and technical reading.
➢Flexibility to work overtime as needed to meet production demands
➢Ability to perform on-call duties during plant off hours

➢Possess technical skills and have the ability to learn new skills
➢Team player and willing to work with minimal supervision
➢Good problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
➢Possess good communication skills
➢Able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
➢Ability to follow detailed instructions
Must be willing to work on Sunday, when required.
