Maintenance Technician & Material Handler

Safety is the most important part of all jobs within CBS; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.

Qualifications

Education: High School Diploma

Work Experience: 2 years forklift experience

Able to work efficiently as part of a team as well as independently

Able to effectively communicate verbally and in writing

Physically capable to perform duties related to a physically demanding role

Must be able to carry and move product and/or supplies in excess of 50lbs

Responsibilities

Safely and accurately load and unload flat bed trucks, stage material in the correct areas.

Forklift Operating while maintaining a safe environment

Maintain work area in a safe condition

May perform other activities such as tying rebar , helping machine operators fabricate rebar.

Participate in clean-up and pre-inspection of equipment.

Properly follow company and OSHA safety procedures.

Maintain and repair all equipment including but not limited to, forklift repair, rebar benders & shears, threading machine, etc.

Change fluids , grease equipment general maintenance of rebar equipment, delivery trucks & forklifts

Assist other maintenance and production personnel during scheduled repair projects and normal production.

Operate mobile equipment as needed.

Work in outdoor and indoor environments.

Minor cleanup and other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

Minimum of 4 years previous maintenance experience preferred.

Welding and fabrication experience.

Ability to work 7am - 4pm Monday - Friday **some Saturdays as needed

Flexible to work off hours and overtime as needed to keep equipment running or for tear downs.

Preferred Qualifications:

Welding & electrical experience preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
