We are seeking a skilled Compressor Technician to join our team. As an experienced Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of industrial air compressors and related equipment at our customers' locations. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and reliable air products operation of crucial manufacturing equipment. Want to be a part of this growing team? Read on!
- Diagnose and Troubleshoot: Conduct thorough diagnostics and provide detailed failure analysis and equipment/system recommendations to improve reliability and/or performance.
- Repair and Maintain: Perform repairs, overhauls, and routine maintenance on air compressors, pumps, gearboxes, and related rotating equipment.
- Testing and Quality Control: Verify the functionality and efficiency of repaired compressors by conducting tests and quality control checks.
- Documentation: Maintain detailed records of work performed, parts used, and other relevant information.
- Parts Sourcing: Identify and source replacement parts as needed, ensuring timely availability.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols and industry standards to guarantee a safe working environment.
- Customer Service: Communicate effectively with clients to explain repair processes, provide estimates, and address any questions or concerns.
- Travel: Maintain a service vehicle with proper equipment, tools, and parts to promote efficient, factory-approved methods for servicing equipment.
Qualifications:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in maintenance preferred.
- Experience: Proven multi-craft and/or previous Maintenance Technician experience of at least 1 year, with experience as a Compressor Technician highly preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow safety protocols; technically knowledgeable, conscientious, detail-oriented with excellent customer service skills.
- Valid Driver’s License and must be able to complete a drug test and background check.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team; flexibility to work on-call and overtime as needed.
- Ability and willingness to travel within the Region to customer locations.
