Job Description
The Maintenance Technician II will play a crucial role in ensuring the optimal functioning of our facilities and machinery. This individual will be responsible for conducting routine maintenance, troubleshooting issues, and performing repairs to minimize downtime and uphold the highest standards of operational efficiency.
- Conduct regular inspections of the facility to identify and address maintenance needs.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including plumbing, electrical work, and general repairs.
- Coordinate with external contractors for specialized maintenance requirements.
Machine Maintenance:
- Carry out preventive maintenance on production machinery to ensure continuous operation.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with machines to minimize downtime.
- Execute repairs and coordinate with equipment suppliers for technical support.
Documentation:
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities, including repairs, inspections, and preventive maintenance tasks.
- Provide timely and detailed reports on equipment status and maintenance activities.
Safety and Compliance:
- Adhere to all safety protocols and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
- Participate in safety training programs and contribute to a safe working environment.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician in a manufacturing or production environment.
- Strong knowledge of facilities and machine maintenance procedures.
- Proficient in reading schematics and technical manuals.
- Basic understanding of electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team.
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Must be able to stand, sit, bend, climb, etc. for 8+ hours a day
- Must be able to life up to 60 Lbs.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Technical degree or certification in maintenance-related field is a plus.
- Associate's degree in mechanical engineering is a plus
