Job Description
We are looking for Maintenance Mechanics for multiple shifts that will be key members of our maintenance team. The successful candidates are expected to be knowledgeable in the operation, maintenance, electrical and repair of a wide variety of machines and equipment, and must be able to diagnose problems and determine the necessary repairs and preventive maintenance.
Maintenance Mechanic Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform preventive maintenance on production and facility equipment, including service and minor repairs
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic malfunctions (Programmable Logic Controller “PLC”)
- Install, adjust, and inspect new and existing equipment
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities
- Communicate with other departments to coordinate repairs and maintenance
- Assist in the training of other maintenance personnel
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures
Maintenance Mechanic Requirements and Qualifications
- Perform preventive maintenance on production and facility equipment, including service and minor repairs
- At least 3 year's experience as a PLC programmer.
- Electrical and mechanical engineering experience
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic malfunctions
- Install, adjust, and inspect new and existing equipment
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities
- Communicate with other departments to coordinate repairs and maintenance
- Assist in the training of other maintenance personnel
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures
