JEDA Polymers is looking to bring on a Maintenance Technician for 1stShift to repair and maintain machinery and mechanical equipment such as electric motors, pneumatic tools, vacuum conveying systems, plastics extrusion production machines and ancillary equipment by performing the following duties.
Responsibilities include troubleshooting system failures, reviewingschematicsto understand wire placement, conducting maintenance repairs,performing daily preventative maintenance checks, testing electrical systems,assisting in development, management, and maintenance of a Kanban system of spare and critical parts, and assisting in setup and changeover on production machines during downtime.
Our maintenance crew is essential to the continuous production of high-quality resin, monitoring the efficiency of the lines, meeting productivity requirements while maintaining a clean and safe environment.
Maintenance Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Reads and interprets hydraulic, schematic, basic electric, electronic and OHM laws.
- Mechanical background.
- Good problem-solving skills.
- Physically strong and able to stand for long periods.
- Must be able to communicate effectively with team leads and supervisors in coordination with production.
- Logs, checklists and inspections records must be maintained orderly and legible.
- High sense of urgency.
- MUST PASS DRUG SCREENING
