Maintenance Technician

This is a direct hire Maintenance Technicianposition, meaning you will be hired permanently with our client and offered their benefit and vacation package upon hire. Including:

Shifts Available:

• 1st – Mon-Fri | 7am-3pm
• 2nd – Mon-Fri |3pm – 11pm
• 3rd – Sun-Thur |11pm – 7am

Hourly Wage as a Maintenance Technician:

• $25-$30/hr

Position Information:
Responsible for maintaining, prevention, and repair of equipment as well as carrying out various maintenance tasks

• Working knowledge and use of hand and power tools.
• Ability to retain mechanical and electrical troubleshooting of all manufacturing and related production equipment.  Repair as needed.  Advise supervisor of major issues.
• Ability to learn basic welding, plumbing, hydraulics, and electrical activities.
• Assist with the training of new personnel.
• Be familiar with and follow safety rules and procedures including PPE, emergency procedures and lockout/tagout procedures.
• Learn how to perform preventative maintenance orders, rebuild parts, and perform work orders with assistance.
• Maintain an understanding of identifying, locating, and signing out required parts from inventory.

What kind of experience do you need to succeed?:

• High School diploma or equivalent is preferred, but not required
• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Electrical, plumbing, welding and machine repair experience will be taught!
• Working knowledge and use of hand and power tools.
• Good verbal communication skills are required
• Basic math skills are required with basic computer skills being preferred
