MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN SUMMARY:
- FULL-TIME; 8:30am - 4:00pm
- WEEKEND ROTATION
- ON- CALL & HOLIDAY ROTATION

- The role of the Maintenance Technician is to maintain the day-to-day operations and to assume responsibility for maintaining the physical asset of the property under the direction of the Director of Maintenance.
- Maintenance Technician is responsible for the completion of all maintenance service requests as assigned which include preventive maintenance
- Maintenance Technician will complete make-ready process of vacant rooms as directed by the Director of Maintenance
- Maintenance Technician will deliver all necessary and required goods to their respective units as assigned
- Maintenance Technician will assist in monitoring all work being performed by outside contractors
- Maintenance Technician is responsible for 24-hour emergency maintenance service as scheduled (on-call)
- Maintenance Technician is prepared to be called into work and/or work extended hours due to snow, emergencies, or other staff needs
- Maintenance Technician will carry cell phone as required for on-call maintenance
- Maintenance Technician will monitor and maintain all building systems as assigned
- Maintain dumpster areas and grounds in good condition
- Responsible for alerting Director of Maintenance any unusual occurrence and/or damage that have or that may occur to the facility
- Maintain a professional courteous manner with all residents, visitors and vendors, contractors, and fellow employees
- Assure safety standards are used which company with all Facility, City, State, Federal and OSHA guidelines
- Minimum High School Diploma or High School Equivalent
- Must have reliable transportation
- At least 2 years’ experience in maintenance/engineering, preferably in healthcare setting
- Long Term Care experience as Maintenance Technician a huge plus!
- Ability to work well under pressure and be flexible.
- Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems
- Must be reliable and dedicated to providing excellent service to our residents.
