The Maintenance Technician takes ownership for building and machine maintenance along with groundskeeping for the Huebsch buildings in Wisconsin. In addition, the Maintenance Technician may also provide support for the Huebsch building(s) in Minnesota.

Core Functions
- Take responsibility for timely completion of projects and repairs.
- Maintain a safe and clean building.
- Collaborate and occasionally own special projects.
- Additional tasks as assigned.
Maintenance
- Complete work orders as assigned.
- Monitor, complete and document daily, weekly, and monthly preventative maintenance on equipment or buildings
- Fabricate custom carts and repair castors.
- Fabricate hanging racks per customer needs.
- Fabricate and install guard rails around machines, walls and where needed.
Safety
- Inspect emergency lights, fire extinguishers and eye wash stations monthly.
- Attend 5S and safety meetings.
- Complete 5S and safety projects.
- Maintain SDS sheets and binders.
- Train proper forklift techniques.
- Maintain lockout/tagout procedures.

Attention to detail, organization, accuracy, and strong communication between team members will lead to success in this position.
Desired Experience
Education: High school diploma and trade school, technical college, or traditional university completion in a related field preferred.
Experience: Prior experience in facility maintenance, electrical, and welding. Fabrication experience is helpful. Preference given to candidates with prior leadership experience and successful project management.
Working Conditions
Work Environment: Indoors
- Low to moderate noise levels
- Humid and hot temperatures in the summer and cool to cold temperatures in the winter
Personal Protective Equipment: Eyewear, hearing protection, protective clothing, gloves, and/or masks may be required.
Physical Demand: Moderate
- Must be able to frequently stand, walk, climb, crouch, crawl, and balance.
- Climbing stairs and ladders, kneeling, bending, and stretching is required throughout the shift.
- Ability to lift 10 to 50 pounds frequently.
- Ability to lift 50 to 75 pounds occasionally.
- Ability to move loaded garment trollies on a rail system.
- Ability to move loaded garment tubs weighing up to 500 pounds.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $27.00 - $30.00 per hour
