Job Description
As the Maintenance Technician you will maintain maintenance on, but not limited to: HVAC, fire and sprinkler equipment, generators, landscape, kitchen equipment and emergency pull cord equipment
Maintenance Technicians will also perform general maintenance projects as scheduled or assigned and respond to maintenance requests by community directors and residents in both private rooms and public living areas
They will also maintain positive communication with local fire marshal, building inspector and any other vendor or jurisdictions governing the community
Oversees, coordinates, and completes appropriate tasks to maintain the facilities at the community
Completes tasks including but not limited to replacing light bulbs, maintaining the grounds, repairing electrical, painting, plumbing, cleaning gutters, HVAC, appliances, and coordination of trash removal
Works with community Executive Director to create and implement a plan of correction for any maintenance deficiencies that may be noted during facility surveys by government agencies
Responsible for managing the housekeeping staff
1st Shift -Full time hours 7:30 am-4:30 pm
Must be willing to work one weekend every other month in rotation
On call in case of an emergency at the office

- Minimum of 3 years experience in a maintenance position
- Previous experience in a long-term care facility or hospital setting preferred
