The Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintenance, construction, and facility repairs to develop and maintain a sound and practical preventative maintenance program. The Maintenance Technician actively works to support the facility mission of providing an environment of safety so that the residents feel empowered to heal the wounds of the past and build a foundation of hope for the future.
Foundations for Living is a residential treatment facility for youth who have experienced various trauma in their lives. Our maintenance team actively engages in a teamwork-focused model designed to provide each resident with the necessary skills for a safe and productive life. Foundations for Living is an 84 bed (14 males and 70 females) secure residential treatment facility for youth addressing mental health and substance abuse issues. Located on the edge of Mansfield, Ohio, in a 14 rolling, wooded acres rural setting, Foundations for Living has easy access to I-71. Foundations for Living is licensed by the Ohio Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services (ODMHAS) and accredited by CARF (Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities). Foundations for Living offers individual, group, and family counseling to our residents.
