Maintenance Technician

Maintenance Technicians are responsible for maintaining, servicing, and repairing machinery and equipment in the manufacturing plant. Performing highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain production facility equipment according to safety, preventative maintenance systems and processes to support the achievement of the company's business goals and objectives.

Job Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance equipment as schedule by management
• Coordinates with Maintenance Manager to complete projects and work orders efficiently.
• Performs electrical maintenance
• Performs minor plumbing maintenance
• Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments
• Responds to emergency situations
• Comply with safety regulations
• Maintain company owned machinery equipment and forklifts
• Ensure work area is kept in a neat, clean condition by picking up all tools and equipment at the end of the work day
• Use provided tools and equipment with care
• Provide personal tools for basic Maintenance Mechanic work
• Answer employee questions about equipment
• Clean equipment as necessary
• Inform management of any potential problems/complaints
• Assist other employees with technical knowledge

Job Requirements

• 8.5-hour schedule
• 3rd Shift
• Ability to lift, push, pull, crawl, bend, stoop, or climb as needed
• Ability to lift 50 pounds
• Ability to stand the entire shift
• Authorization to work in the U.S.
• Valid Driver's License
• Manufacturing Experience (Preferred)
• Forklift Experience (Preferred)
• Electrical Experience (Preferred)
