Job Description
We are a growing local, family owned property management business that cares about our people and is looking for a Maintenance Technician at our growing property management company in the Sherwood - Little Rock area. This person will have a variety of responsibilities while working around the properties. Responsibilities include:
- Repairing electrical and HVAC systems
- Repairing fixtures, appliances and other units inside the apartment.
- Fixing make ready properties and preparing them for move ins.
- Maintaining grounds around the property.
- General cleanup of units and other tasks as assigned.
- Complete service requests in occupied units in an efficient and courteous manner.
- Be alert to any other potential problems in occupied units (fix if small, or report to manager).
- Leave a completed work order form in all apartments entered.
- Clean up any debris caused by maintenance work.
- Record time spent in each unit on the service request.
- Respond to and complete after-hours service requests during the scheduled on-call period.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience in apartment maintenance. Would also prefer to have a certificate in HVAC or have taken courses.
Must have reliable transportation, own tools, internet connected mobile device, along with a valid driver's license and pass a background check.
Pay is $17-$22/hr depending on skill and experience
Typical shift is Monday-Friday form 8:30am-5:30pm./ On Call as necessary
