BASIC REQUIREMENTS:

· 3 years or more of industrial electrical and mechanical maintenance in an industrial or manufacturing environment OR an associate degree or Industrial maintenance Certification in a related field with at least (1) year of industrial electrical and mechanical maintenance experience in an industrial manufacturing environment.

· Experience with 277/480 3 phase power

· Experience in welding and fabrication

· Experience troubleshooting issues with bearings, chains, sprockets, gearboxes, and conveyors

· Experience reading blueprints, technical drawings, and/or electrical schematics

· Experience troubleshooting and repairing hydraulics and pneumatics

· Experience with industrial air compressors

· Experience working with computers, such as using Microsoft Office programs like Word, Excel, and Outlook

· Willing and able to work any shift, holidays, weekends, and overtime as needed

· Willing and able to perform tasks such as lifting, climbing, stooping, pushing, and/or pulling for at least twelve (12) hours a day

· Willing and able to work in elevated places

· Willing and able to maintain strict adherence to safety rules and regulations

MAJOR AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY

· Responsible for trouble shooting battery charges and conveyor equipment

· Responsible for maintaining dock doors and dock equipment

· Responsible for keeping battery chargers clean and safe

· Responsible for picking up wood pallets and loading them on trailer

· Responsible for picking plastic and cardboard and operating baler for these items

· Has to be on call around the clock if needed

· Promote good communication and teamwork throughout the entire department

· Promote unity and morale among all associates

· Treat all associates equally. Never show favoritism

· Feed information forward and provide feedback

· Encourage associate development

· Set goals and objectives for associates to help promote their development

· Make associates aware of expectations and hold them accountable

· Encourage associates to make decisions and think outside the box

· Be available to associates to assist them wherever needed

· Lead by example with complete fairness and ethics

· Maintenance Tech. must always set a good example for their associates and other co-workers

· Be respectful to associates and co-workers. Never use inappropriate language or profanity. Do not allow your associates or anyone else to use profanity or be disrespectful in any way to any associate at NSE

· Maintain a positive attitude at all times

· Promote and maintain COP at all times

OTHER AREAS OF KNOWLEDGE (Considered a plus, however may/or may not be required.

· Knowledge of general contract work and how to use items of that trade

• Power tools – sander, drill, skill saw, band saw, etc…
• Plumbing
• A/C
• Read blueprints
• Welding and cutting with torch
• Basic mechanics
• Millwright experience, etc….

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
• Overtime
• Weekends as needed

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Lincoln, AL: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)

Experience:

• Maintenance: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• Driver's License (Preferred)
