Job Description
- The Maintenance Technician is responsible for conducting intricate technical repairs and preventive maintenance on Bakery equipment, encompassing mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and computerized systems. This position entails troubleshooting, repairing, and installing new parts, as well as executing equipment overhauls, testing repaired equipment, and meticulously documenting all activities in the computerized maintenance system.
- Provides technical repairs to complex electronic, mechanical, and Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs).
- Troubleshoots, repairs, and installs electronic systems, complex gauges, and instrumentation.
- Assists in diagnosing malfunctions in systems and equipment and executes major equipment overhauls.
- Maintains production equipment, operates general machinery and tools, and interacts with computerized maintenance systems.
- Ensures compliance with quality assurance, safety, and government regulations.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma with a minimum of 4 years of experience in instrumentation, measurement, and control systems, electronics, mechanical, and/or electrical experience in industrial and manufacturing machinery.
- 4 or more years of experience in industrial maintenance environment troubleshooting PLC software, I/O, and field devices.
- Experience in three of the following skills: refrigeration, plumbing, electrical, mechanical, and food manufacturing process controls.
- Knowledge of equipment setup, functionality, operating procedures, and preventative maintenance techniques.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical, mechanical, instrumentation, and control systems design documentation.
