As a Maintenance Technician, supporting our mission will include the following responsibilities:

• Respond to all emergencies acting as first responder to Residential Living units and communicates with
  emergency personnel, as necessary
• Assist in keeping the building in good repair including painting, plastering, etc., as directed by supervisor
• Repair toilets, spigots, drains, electrical wiring, etc., as needed
• Assist with general maintenance outside the building, landscaping, maintenance of patios and lawn furniture and clearing driveway and entrances of ice and snow
• Assist carpenter, HVAC, electrical and other skilled personnel, as requested
• Keep all places of employment, passageways, storerooms and service rooms clean and orderly and in sanitary condition. Keep floors clean and dry, keep working places and passageways free of protruding nails, splinters, holes or loose boards, etc.
• Set up and tear down functions
• Demonstrate the ability to work with the equipment necessary for completing tasks

What do I need for this role with Frederick Living?

• High school graduate or equivalent
• Ability to read, write and follow oral and written instructions
• Previous experience in maintenance is desired
