What this job involves
This position provides general support in the operation of a client facility (including equipment installation, equipment relocation, general repairs, painting, escort of vendors, support of maintenance trades.). This position is also responsible for the general maintenance of an office/ lab environment and works daily with the Operations and Maintenance teams to provide excellent customer service to our client.

Perform routine repair, maintenance, restoration, and replacement of various components of the physical structure of the buildings.

What is your day to day?
Perform routine repair, maintenance, restoration, and replacement of various components of the physical structure of the buildings.
- Perform assigned facility inspections and due diligence efforts, reporting on as found conditions impacting satisfactory client occupancy and operations.
- Maintains records for work completed in a neat and organized manner
- Assists the operations team in general office maintenance
- Completes special tasks that include tenant services requests, special cleaning, and general maintenance as assigned.
- Moves office furniture, machinery, equipment, and other materials as requested
- Maintains a clean and safe workplace
- Assists with successfully completing work orders
Desired experience and technical skills
Required
- High school diploma or GED required
- 3+ years of related working experience
- Strong working knowledge of computer systems and software such as Microsoft Excel, Outlook, etc.
- Ability to lift at least 50 lbs. occasionally
- Ability to stand and/or walk for a prolonged period of time
Preferred
- Team player with strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to communicate well in both oral and written reports
