QUALIFICATIONS:
- Prior experience with the following skills: Mechanical, Pneumatic, Hydraulic, and Electrical (24DC, 120/277/480AC) systems. Methodical problem solving to identify root cause of breakdowns.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- Requires minimum of eight hours standing, bending, squatting, kneeling, pushing, and pulling with a full range of body mechanics/movements.
- Regularly required to lift and carry up to 35 (thirty-five) pounds. Frequently required to lift and carry up to fifty-five (55) pounds.
- Must be able to work in an environment requiring use of ladder, stairs, heights, platforms and climbing in and out of trailers or working under trailers in tight spaces.
- Must have ability to operate a variety of power and hand tools safely, work with compressed air safely, ability to work near fiber glass, operate fork trucks safely and utilize personal protective equipment (PPE)
EXPERIENCE
- Maintenance for buildings and grounds including but not limited to: Welding, framing construction and metal work
- Operation of the Maintenance Group tools and equipment including but not limited to: forklift, scissor lifts.
- Yard work and landscaping
- Compliance with Company policies and procedures
- Compliance with local, state and federal rules, regulations and codes
SKILLS
- Communication skills – verbal and written
- Coordinate with supervision and other groups including outside contractors
- Read and accurately follow schedules, blue prints, diagrams and schematics
- Reporting and documentation
- Safe operation of various equipment including heavy equipment
- Work independently with limited instruction
