Responsibilities

• As a Maintenance Supervisor, you will oversee maintenance operations using precision and preventative maintenance to maximize production equipment uptime.
• In this position you assist and provide direction to craftsmen with equipment troubleshooting to mitigate the downtime while maintaining the plant equipment to OEM specifications and OSHA regulations.
• You will be expected to lead development and implementation of continuous process improvement of reliability plans, large project upgrades to the current equipment.
• Leading safely by identifying high-risk situations, conducting safety meetings, and coordinating maintenance related safety activities.
• Your proposals for new start-up tools and equipment, troubleshooting and improvements for production installations will also require managing the projects from start to finish.
• Good working knowledge of PLCs and drives.

Qualifications

• You should have a solid understanding of machine tool and fabricating operations with a good mechanical aptitude.
• Your desire to support and work closely with production workers along with providing a quality product to our customers will ensure your success in this position.
• High School education or equivalent with a desired knowledge of paper making processes or of machine tool and fabricating operations with a good mechanical aptitude.
• Experience in supervision, discipline as required on employee relations, safe practices while adhering to the collective bargaining agreement, company's personnel policies and state and federal rules and regulations.
• Must have seven plus years of mechanical, electrical, or related field.
