Maintenance Supervisor

JOB PURPOSE:

The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for overseeing all installation, repair, and upkeep operations of our company’s facilities. Duties include maintaining machinery, assigning repair activities due to the companies needs. Assisting in locating or finding parts to be ordered. To be able to oversee maintenance all machines throughout their shift.

MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED:

· High School Diploma or GED

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

· 3+ years of maintenance leadership roles

· 3+ years of maintenance background

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS: (Preferred qualifications)

· Six-sigma Green/Black Belt Certification and Lean Certification a plus

· Knowledge of Fiber Optic Industry desirable

· SAP Experience preferred

· Proficient in MS Office Excel, Word and Power Point; Acute ability to understand and use data for continuous improvement.

· Maintenance related background

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Oversee the daily tasks of a maintenance team

· Monitor equipment inventory and place orders when necessary

· Maintain maintenance logs and report on daily activities

· Ensure that the team you are leading has the adequate resources to do their job

· Ensure health and safety and all other policies are in compliance

· Allocate workload and supervise work load as necessary

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES:

· Must be a safety conscious individual

· Must have exceptional time management skills

· Experience in planning maintenance operations

· Be able to work in dynamically changing environment with competing resource demands

· Must be organized

· Needs to be “metric driven” and aspire to meet deadlines and goals

· Must be customer focused

· Must be a good communicator and approachable and has the ability to teach others

· Must be a good leader who wants to help others succeed

· Needs to be patient

· Needs to be able to communicate both up and down the leadership chain with confidence

· Must be cost conscious

Pay: From $75,000.00 per year
