Maintenance Specialist 1

Weber Human Services (WHS), located in Ogden, Utah serves a growing urban population residing in Weber and Morgan Counties.

We are an organization dedicated to helping those in need rebuild their lives and reach their full potential. WHS was organized by a cooperative agreement between the Weber and Morgan county governments to serve as the local authority for the provision of their substance abuse, mental health and senior service programs.

Weber Human Services is the only organization in the State of Utah providing these services under a single administration. Through dozens of human services programs, WHS helps thousands of its neighbors by supporting and empowering our most vulnerable groups including at-risk youth, the elderly, children, youth and adults suffering from mental illnesses, and those recovering from addictions.

A typical day in this position consists of general maintenance duties in Weber Human Services facilities, including yard care, painting, carpentry, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, repairing and maintaining equipment. This role will provide you a variety of tasks where you can become skilled in numerous maintenance activities. You must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and have a valid Utah Driver License. You must also have a learning attitude, listen to verbal instructions and work from blue prints and/or work drawings. We would prefer some experience but if you are the right candidate, we are willing to teach!

Must be willing to complete and criminal background check and pre-employment drug screening.
