Job Summary:
The Maintenance Planner reports to the Director of Maintenance. Use the Access database to monitor routine maintenance and time-controlled tasks pertaining to the K2 fleet, to ensure timely accomplishment of maintenance tasks. Build work scopes and work packages for A, B, & C Checks. Prepare and issue maintenance forecasts as assigned. Issue work orders to maintenance for job completion.
Functions/Responsibilities
- Use the Access database to monitor, on a daily basis, the time remaining on all scheduled maintenance and life limits for airframes, engines, and equipment pertaining to the K2 fleet.
- Use the Access database to monitor, on a daily basis, the aircraft TAT and TAC.
- Work closely with the Quality Control department in implementing Airworthiness Directives and Service Bulletins.
- Ensure that maintenance is issued I accomplished within calendar, flight-hour, and flight-cycle limits as specified by K2 Maintenance Inspection Program (MIPS), Federal Aviation Regulations, Airworthiness Directives, Service Bulletins, Corrosion Programs, Supplemental Structural Inspection Programs, Repair Assessment Programs, Supplemental Type Certificates, Special Inspections, Engineering Authorizations, and Advisory Notices.
- Work closely with the Maintenance Control department to ensure that special tools and materials are available and in place for issued tasks (logistics).
- Prepare and issue work-scopes and work-packages for maintenance checks of all levels.
- Inform the Director of Maintenance of any changes to the work-scopes and work-packages after the original has been issued. Issue Repair Orders (Form M-34) and Routine Maintenance Control Logs (Form M-34A).
- Perform any other duties as assigned by the Director of Maintenance.
Requirements
Candidates must have a High School diploma or General Education Degree (GED) and preferred related experience or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
