Maintenance Person

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Person to join our team. The Maintenance Person will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks to ensure the proper functioning and upkeep of our property. This includes conducting repairs, troubleshooting issues, and performing preventative maintenance. The ideal candidate will be able to work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities:

- Conduct routine inspections of property to identify and address maintenance issues

- Perform repairs and maintenance tasks, such as plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry work

- Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and perform necessary repairs

- Respond to emergency maintenance requests in a timely manner

- Supervise and coordinate outside contractors when necessary

Requirements:

- High school diploma or equivalent

- Proven experience in facilities maintenance or a related field

- Skills including carpentry, painting, plumbing, electrical, and HVAC

- Communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with staff and tenants

- Strong problem-solving skills

- Leadership abilities to supervise and coordinate outside contractors

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
