Job Summary and Qualifications

The Maintenance Engineer assists in performing duties necessary to keep the physical structure and associated equipment of the Hospital in good repair. Primary duties include minor electrical work, mechanical repairs, and other duties relating to maintenance.

• You will use basic hand tools and test equipment specific to the field.
• You will steam, pressure, hydraulic, thermodynamics, and reading electrical and plumbing schematics.
• You will follow semi-complex written instructions, perform tasks, and document actions taken.

What qualifications you will need:

• High school diploma or equivalent Experience
• 1-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Shows how to use (through a competency assessment) a standard desktop and Windows-based computer system, including a basic understanding of email, e-learning, intranet, and computer navigation.
• Ability to use other software as required to perform the job's essential functions.
