Salary1. Interacts with co-workers, visitors, and other staff consistent with the values of Jefferson
2. Installs, maintains, and repairs electrical control, wiring, and lighting systems.
3. Inspects transformers and circuit breakers and other electrical components. Troubleshoots electrical issues using appropriate of
testing devices.
4. Installs and maintains wiring in accordance with rules and regulations, and ensures that buildings have enough power to operate
safely.
5. Performs electrical construction such as installing circuit breaker panel boards, circuit breakers, conduit, cable, motor starters,
switches, lights, etc.
7. Performs electrical preventive maintenance work and planning (fire alarm system, emergency and standby generators, electrical safety checking, written plans, lockout and system switching, etc.) to ensure safety and remain in compliance with regulations.
8. Works from blueprints, schematics, wiring diagrams, etc. to make sure jobs are accurately completed.
8. Performs other maintenance duties as needed and assigned by the supervisor or lead.
Responsible for the installation, inspection and repair of electrical equipment and system in buildings, both existing and under construction to ensure the safe and optimal operation of power, lighting, communications and control systems to operation and maintenance of systems including but not limited to substation. Distribution systems and generators possess is working knowledge of other trees in order to coordinate work projects.
