Maintenance Mechanic

HiFyve is hiring a Maintenance Mechanic in Rockledge, FL!

• Pay: $20 per/hr - $30 per/hr (based on experience)
• 1st shift Monday - Friday 7 am - 4 pm

Job Responsibilities

• Conduct preventive maintenance and repairs on a variety of equipment including manufacturing machines, fork trucks, pallet jacks, stand-on jacks, tractors, trailers, box trucks, and other company vehicles.
• Grease and lubricate machinery to ensure smooth operation and prevent wear.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues to diagnose necessary repairs accurately.
• Thoroughly clean machines and machine parts, disassembling and reinstalling components as required.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and completed tasks.
• Perform minor plumbing, electrical, basic carpentry, heating and cooling, and other building systems maintenance tasks as needed.
• Monitor maintenance inventory levels, log usage, and order necessary parts to complete tasks efficiently.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in all work areas to ensure a safe and productive environment.
• Adhering to floor safety protocols and compliance standards at all times.
• Work with various systems including electrical, mechanical, pneumatics, hydraulics, and PLCs to address maintenance needs.
• Read and interpret blueprints and electrical schematics to assist in troubleshooting and repair efforts.
• Assist in the installation and setup of new machinery, ensuring proper functionality and performance.
• Provide training to operators on how to perform simple maintenance tasks and operate new machinery effectively.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or relevant vocational training preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in maintenance in an industrial or manufacturing setting.
• Required knowledge of electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and PLC systems.
• Experience working with industrial machinery required
• Proficiency in performing minor plumbing, electrical, carpentry, heating and cooling, and other building systems maintenance tasks.
• Demonstrated experience in completing preventative maintenance tasks.
• Experience documenting maintenance activities in SAP or similar software.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform tasks requiring kneeling, crawling, and standing in various awkward positions to complete maintenance tasks effectively.
