STS Line Maintenance, a leading provider of line maintenance services across the United States and beyond, is expanding its team in Fort Myers, FL (RSW). We are seeking highly motivated Aircraft Maintenance Professionals to join our team and help us enhance the operational capabilities of our rapidly growing line maintenance station.
Position Summary:
The A&P Aircraft Maintenance Technician plays a crucial role in supporting the daily maintenance operations for our customers, ensuring aircraft are maintained to the highest standards of airworthiness as prescribed by applicable regulations and company policies.
Job Responsibilities & Duties:
- Report directly to the Line Maintenance Station Manager and Station Leads.
- Collaborate closely with airline clients, flight crews, and Aircraft Maintenance Controllers.
- Conduct inspections, tests, troubleshooting, adjustments, and repairs on various commercial and regional aircraft, including Airbus A320, CRJ, and Embraer 170.
- Maintain the highest level of quality and integrity in all maintenance activities.
- Adjust, repair, or replace defective aircraft components following detailed maintenance manuals and technical documentation.
- Perform duties in various weather conditions and outdoor environments as necessary.
Candidate Requirements & Qualifications:
- Current and valid FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) certifications with a clean history.
- Experience on turbine powered aircraft is considered a plus.
- Possession of a standard set of line maintenance tools; specialty tooling provided.
- Ability to perform tasks with minimal supervision and maintain a positive attitude.
- Capable of lifting 50 lbs. unassisted and performing physical tasks as required by the job.
- Must pass a background check, drug & alcohol test, and obtain customs & border patrol clearance.
- Experience under FAA Part 145 repair station or Part 135 is highly desired.
- Inspection Authorization (IA) license is a plus.
- Must be versatile and flexible to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
Benefits:
- Full-time employees receive PTO, health insurance, and 401K. No benefits are offered for part-time positions.
- Competitive starting rate of pay between $27.50 and $38 per hour, based on experience and training. Annual raises upon performance evaluation.
