Job Description
Our client s a leading provider of linen management services to the healthcare and hospitality industries. With six premier regional brands, 20 state-of-the-art laundry processing facilities in nineteen states delivering over 300 million pounds of assorted quality linens into both the healthcare and hospitality markets.
Responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining large industrial textile processing equipment, as well as facility maintenance. Tasks include start-up, and shut-down procedures, electrical troubleshooting, maintaining and operating boilers, welding and cutting, hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanical.
Minimum of two years maintenance engineering experience with specific knowledge of machinery, electricity, electronics, plumbing, hydraulics, pneumatics, welding and boiler applications.
High School diploma and valid driver's license.
- Strong electrical troubleshooting ability of 3-phase 230-volt systems.
- PLC Programming experience.
- Experience in carpentry, boiler repair, welding and general facility repair.
- Inside and outside areas of a typical laundry facility, which includes working with and around large machinery, variations in temperature, noise, humidity, lint and dust.
- Occasional local travel to procure parts.
