Summary
Supervise and Manage the Maintenance Team and Maintenance Projects to support all new equipment installations, maintenance repairs and TPM requirements.
Job Responsibilities & Requirements
Essential Functions Statement(s)
- Facilitates proper maintenance of all parts and areas of the facility including machinery and buildings.
- Creates, schedules, implements, and manages a preventive maintenance program for production machinery and equipment.
- Supervises Maintenance mechanics and delegates tasks and projects as needed.
- Evaluates jobs in process and on completion to ensure products meet safety and work quality expectations.
- Directs the maintenance and operations of various facility systems to ensure uninterrupted service.
- Conducts machinery analysis as needed, participates in audits/inspections.
- Procures materials, supplies, and repair parts to maintain inventory as required.
- Suggests, plans, and oversees equipment needs and acquisition to maximize production efficiency and return.
- Oversees and plans the layout of electrical and mechanical equipment; recommends and implements modifications to facilities.
- Performs other related duties as required.
- Maintain clean and organized work area.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Oversees, schedules and coordinates daily work assignments of maintenance team, electrical, and mechanical operation workers.
- Manages/Administers performance reviews, discipline etc.
- Attendance at work during the regularly scheduled shift is an essential duty. This includes, but is not limited to the ability to be present at work, ability to work overtime as required, arrive on time and be at the workstation ready for work at the start of the shift.
- SKILLS & ABILITIES
Education : Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or similar field is highly desired.
Experience : At least five years of experience in supervisory positions that combine technical, managerial and financial expertise required.
Computer Skills
Windows Operating System, PLC Software knowledge (GE, Allen Bradley, & Mitsubishi).
Other Requirements
Language Skills:
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
Mathematical Skills:
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.
