Manzana Products Co. (Manzana) is hiring an experienced Maintenance Manager in Sunnyside, Wa. Responsibilities include plant equipment installation, start-up, and ongoing maintenance. Key responsibilities include developing and executing the site's master plan, ensuring safety and compliance during project work, and managing facility equipment. The role also involves setting up maintenance shops, overseeing spare part program, and leading the Maintenance and Facilities teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Master Planning:
- Own and develop the master plan for site work in collaboration with the Technical Director, Project Director, and Project Manager. Ensure alignment of maintenance activities with project timelines and objectives.
- Vendor and Work Coordination:
- Act as the primary point of contact for the General Contractor and various vendors. Coordinate work activities, ensuring seamless collaboration between different stakeholders.
- Safety and Compliance:
- Enforce on-site safety protocols and insurance compliance throughout project work.
- Ensure compliance with SQF certification requirements. Conduct regular safety audits and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Issue Management:
- Manage and resolve issues arising during construction work. Identify discrepancies between project specifications and on-site work, escalating issues appropriately.
- Facility Equipment Management:
- Oversee the installation, maintenance, safety, and security compliance of all facility equipment.
- Set up and manage Preventive Maintenance Program. Ensure adherence to industry standards and best practices.
- Maintenance Shop Setup:
- Establish and organize the maintenance shop, including spare parts inventory and small machinery and equipment. Implement efficient systems for tracking and managing inventory with CMMS.
- Team Management:
- Supervise and lead a team of Facilities and Maintenance Technicians and Operators.
- Provide guidance, support, and training to ensure optimal performance.
