Job description

Weyerhaeuser Company is seeking a Maintenance Superintendent for our Greenville Lumber facility. We are seeking an experienced individual to provide leadership for reliability and maintenance process improvements. The successful candidate will be responsible for a broad range of management and leadership functions within the Maintenance Department and interfacing with all operational areas of the mill. The successful candidate must be committed to safety, have a positive attitude, excellent work ethic, and strong leadership skills.
Key Functions:
Lead in the development and improvement of Preventative and Predictive maintenance programs and their implementation across the site. Disciplines include Mechanical and Electrical/Instrumentation activities to improve site reliability; be a leader in Safety and Housekeeping activities. Role model leadership behaviors consistent with our site principles; champion Weyerhaeuser's Standard Manufacturing Processes and lead these at Greenville. This requires the ability to lead processes and think systematically; develop and analyze maintenance measurements to monitor and improve on maintenance efficiency and reliability effectiveness. Our Greenville Lumber Mill is in Grifton, NC.
Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years in a maintenance related field
  • Demonstrated success in developing and leading a maintenance team/organization
  • Extensive knowledge and experience with reliable maintenance methods
  • Strong communication skills and interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively at all levels in the organization
  • Knowledge and understanding of labor relations principles preferred
  • Experience in administering collective bargaining agreements
  • Demonstrated ability to manage supervisors and work closely with other superintendents and managers
  • Good mechanical aptitude and experience with preventative and predictive maintenance programs
  • Excellent planning and organization skills
  • Ability to facilitate and lead people through multiple priorities in a changing environment
  • Proficient computer skills in MS Office, other windows based programs, and internet skills
  • Experience with SAP or other CMMS program
What We Offer:
Compensation: This role is eligible for our annual merit-increase program, and we are targeting a salary range of $104,300 to $156,000 based on your level of skills, qualifications, and experience. You will also be eligible for our Annual Incentive Program, which offers a cash bonus targeting 15% of base pay. Potential plan funding may range from zero to two times that target.

Retirement: Employees can enroll in our company's 401k plan, which includes a paid company match in addition to our annual contribution equal to 5% of your base salary.
Paid Time Off or Vacation: We provide eligible employees who are scheduled to work 25 hours or more per week with paid vacation for up to 3 weeks to use during your first year of employment. In addition, after being employed for six months, eligible employees begin to accrue vacation for future use. We also recognize eleven paid holidays per year, providing a total of 88 hours along with paid parental leave for all full-time employees
