Maintenance Laborer

Metals Technology Corporation a Certified Heat Treater, located in Carol Stream, Illinois has been servicing the heat treat needs of companies throughout the Midwest for over 50 years. During that time, we have earned an excellent reputation as a provider of high-quality heat-treating services.

All levels of experience are welcome to apply but must have some relevant experience.

Skills

• Must be comfortable working in a hot environment
• Use of Multimeters and troubleshooting controls.
• Use of Hand tools
• Equipment Maintenance— performing routine maintenance on equipment and determining when and what kind of maintenance is needed.
• Troubleshooting and Repairing— Determining causes of operating errors and deciding what to do about it.
• Critical Thinking— using logic and reasoning to identify solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems.

• English Language Speaking Reading and Comprehension— As part of the job requirements, the candidate must be able to read and write as well as verbally communicate in English
• Time Management— The candidate must be able to manage their own time efficiently and be self motivated.

• Past experience in an heat treating environment is a plus
• Electrical experience is a plus
